Beyoncé lidera lista das 100 melhores músicas do século da revista Rolling Stone

A edição de julho da revista Rolling Stone lançou a lista das “100 melhores músicas do século XXI – até agora” e que tem no primeiro lugar “Crazy in Love”, o single de estreia da carreira solo de Beyoncé, em 2003.

“Nossa lista pode parecer um pouco diferente, mas o resultado é um excelente reflexo de um período incrível na história da música”, diz a publicaçã, que fez a seleção com a opinião de artistas, críticos e especialistas da indústria fonográfica.

Logo depois da diva do pop, aparecem para completar o top 3 “Paper Planes,” de M.I.A. (2007) e “Seven Nation Army,” de The White Stripes (2003).

De acordo com a Rolling Stone, os anos 2000 foram responsáveis por uma proliferação de canções e de mudanças na forma de consumir esse conteúdo.

“Os anos 2000 produziram uma quantidade incrível de músicas incríveis – e, como as mudanças na tecnologia tornaram tudo muito livre, conseguimos ouvir mais do que nunca”, defende a publicação.

A seleção tem ainda Daft Punk, Outkast, Johnny Cash, Adele, U2 e Lady Gaga, por exemplo.

O sucesso mundial do ano passado “Despacito”, de Luis Fonsi, ficou na 91ª posição. Já “Gasolina”, que Daddy Yankee lançou nos idos de 2004, encerra a lista da revista americana, que qualificou a canção como “um divisor de águas na ascensão do reggaeton para o mundo”.
